SpartanNash Adds Location Technology to Fast Lane
SpartanNash has added GPS location technology to its existing click-and-collect program, Fast Lane. The new feature enhances transparency for shoppers and gives stores an accurate arrival time for customers coming to pick up their grocery orders.

SpartanNash has added GPS location technology to Fast Lane, its click-and-collect program, with the aim of offering a seamless online grocery shopping and curbside pickup experience.
“This new technology will completely change our customers’ experience with Fast Lane,” asserted SpartanNash VP, Marketing Brian Holt. “Fast Lane already provides exceptional customer service … and our new GPS location technology will only improve the ease and speed of the Fast Lane experience.”
Lowes Foods Ensures Customers Collect On Time After They Click
Flybuy enables Lowes to execute the click-and-collect process more efficiently for its Lowes Foods To Go curbside pickup and delivery services, in turn providing a frictionless experience for shoppers and store associates.
“The Radius Networks Flybuy platform gives our hosts a new level of visibility into a guest’s journey to our store which is significantly decreasing wait times at pickup,” according to Chad Petersen, senior director of e-commerce at Lowes Foods, which operates 74 supermarkets in North and South Carolina.
“In addition to the time-saving benefits for our guests, the geolocation data provided by Flybuy helps our personal shoppers spend their time more efficiently inside the store,” Petersen added. “This has a dramatic impact on our service levels and efficiency while aiding in our continued focus toward developing a more proactive operation overall.”
Lowes Foods Adopts Flybuy Curbside Pickup Technology
Lowes Foods has selected Radius Networks’ Flybuy pickup curbside solution for use at all of its 80 stores. The technology will allow Lowes to improve its click and collect Lowes Foods to Go program featuring curbside pickup and delivery.

Radius Networks' location-driven technology allows its grocery, restaurant, and retail clients to interact with customers wherever they are. With increased uptake in its order delivery, curbside pickup, messaging, and tracking services, the company has moved up 39 spots from its 2018 position on the Inc. 5000.
