CHALLENGE
Initially Peapod Digital Labs brands, Giant Food, The GIANT Company, and Stop & Shop had nearly 700 locations where they required a customer to call the store when they arrived. This disrupted the workflow and required staff to spend time on the phone. With multiple callers at a time, this meant the customer would have to wait.
SOLUTION
Flybuy provided early alerts, enabling staff to fulfill orders ahead of a customer’s arrival. When a customer arrived, the staff was automatically alerted, and the customer did not have to announce their arrival or check-in. The staff meets them promptly for a fast handoff.
