2025 was a year of momentum for Flybuy. We shipped faster, went deeper into store operations, and continued building tools that help brands turn pickup and delivery into a competitive advantage. We further expanded our value in the world of loyalty and marketing, with new Marketing Suite products designed to help brands engage customers beyond the curb, turning pickup moments into lasting relationships. Below is a recap of the product milestones that shaped the year.
Diving Deeper into AI Models for Location Precision
Flybuy enhanced its ETAi® solution with new machine learning and probabilistic AI models to improve arrival timing in the final moments of the customer journey. By learning from millions of real pickup trips and site-specific location patterns, ETAi® delivers more precise, just-in-time arrival predictions than traditional map ETAs. The result is better-timed order preparation, more efficient staff workflows, and smoother, faster handoffs that elevate the overall customer experience.


Advanced Marketing Tools Leveraging Location
In 2025, Flybuy introduced the Events Engine, enabling brands to stream rich pickup and engagement signals directly into their CDP (customer data platform) or CEP (customer engagement platform). This real-time data unlocks personalized marketing and automated journeys by connecting Flybuy Events, such as “customer waiting on site” or “customer left a 2-star rating,” to existing marketing and loyalty platforms. The result is more timely, relevant guest interactions that extend well beyond the pickup moment.
We also expanded Flybuy’s proximity marketing SDK, Notify, with store-specific templating and configurable campaign frequency controls. Brands can now tailor messaging at the individual store level, guiding guests directly to the correct ordering page to increase conversion and order volume. Flexible frequency settings help teams strike the right balance between engagement and restraint, ensuring notifications feel inviting, not intrusive.
Integrations to Expand our Platform Reach
In 2025, we expanded Flybuy’s integration ecosystem to deliver a more connected, reliable pickup experience. The Order Status Tracker now supports order updates from Olo, QSR Automations, Square, Toast, and PAR Brink. This aligns the tracker UI with real-time events from these partners. This added layer of integration improves transparency for guests and ensures greater accuracy across every stage of the order journey.
We also partnered with Deliverect to bring real-time order updates for both customer pickup and delivery orders directly into the Flybuy platform, enabling restaurants to access accurate, live order information within the Flybuy Dashboard.
On the marketing side, we completed an integration with Braze that connects Flybuy’s real-time location and pickup events with rich customer data. This enables brands to trigger more relevant, timely marketing campaigns, turning on-the-ground moments into personalized engagement and smarter loyalty strategies.


Real-Time Order Tracking Onsite
In addition to mobile order tracking, Flybuy now supports an in-store Order Status Board that displays live order status in the lobby for both pickup guests and delivery drivers. This shared, real-time view makes it easy for customers to monitor their orders without relying on staff or interrupting their workflow.
By increasing visibility and self-service, the Order Status Board improves guest transparency while reducing counter congestion and staff interruptions, helping stores run more smoothly during peak hours.


Effortless Check-In Options
After years of deploying Flybuy Pickup across thousands of locations, we’ve learned that the person picking up an order is often not the original purchaser. We’ve also seen how critical it is for brands to meet customers where they are, regardless of their comfort with technology. That’s why our Voice, Text, and QR Check-in solution has seen strong adoption. By allowing customers to call, text, or scan a QR code upon arrival to check in and share their spot number, teams spend less time managing calls and more time delivering a seamless, first-class pickup experience.


Driving Web-to-App Adoption
Flybuy launched Smart Banners to help brands increase mobile app downloads without disrupting the pickup experience. By prompting customers early in the web journey and using deferred deep linking, Smart Banners seamlessly transition users from browser to app right where they left off. The result is higher app adoption, uninterrupted journeys, and a better long-term customer experience for both brands and shoppers.
In 2025, Flybuy accelerated product innovation across marketing, operations, and AI to help brands deliver faster, smarter, and more connected pickup experiences.
